AMC (Albania Mobile Communication) was the first mobile operator to start commercial operations in Albania almost 20 years ago and has come a long way since then. Becoming part of Deutsche Telekom group in 2008, it only now adopted DT’s corporate identity, making it the twelfth country across Deutsche Telekom’s European footprint to turn magenta.
While this was planned long in advance, 2015 proved to be the right year to act: favorable market conditions and increased awareness among business customers but also the launch of 4G services were crucial factors which now triggered the rebranding.
All parties involved will benefit from this development, as higher recognition and more frequent provider choice by international business clients further strengthens the company. For business customers the rebranding comes with a range of new product and service offerings as well as enhanced roaming options and access to the 4G/4G+ network for improved coverage.
